Delish New York Bakery, which opened in March, provides sweet and savory fare reminiscent of the delicacies of the Big Apple. Suitable for meetings or office gatherings, the bakery can put together bagel and cream cheese assortments—bagels are first made with New York City water and kettle boiled in the Bronx, then shipped to Delish, where they are baked fresh daily—as well as helpings of deli favorites such as chicken, tuna, egg, potato, and pasta salads.
Pastry offerings include New York standards such as cannoli, cream puffs, and eclairs (all available in miniature sizes so guests can sample different types of sweets), as well as rugelach, hamentaschen, even a Brooklyn Blackout cake which is a chocolate cake filled and frosted with chocolate pudding and covered in chocolate cake crumbs. Of course, the shop also provides jumbo black-and-white cookies, too. Popular for breakfast are the scone and crumb cake platters. Orders may be picked up at the bakery.
