1. A new tequila bar and lounge, La Cava del Tequila opened in August at the World Showcase inside Epcot Center’s Mexico pavilion. The venue, which seats 46, serves ceviche and other light Mexican fare along with margaritas and 70 premium tequilas.
2. In June, Pleasure Island added new waterfront dining spot Paradiso 37. The menu represents the 37 countries of North, South, and Central America. A semiprivate area in the wine bar has a patio and seats 65.
3. In August, Iron Chef star Cat Cora opened Kouzzina by Cat Cora at the Disney Boardwalk. The menu pays homage to Cora’s Greek roots. The dining room features an open theater kitchen with oak-fired ovens and a wood-burning grill; the semiprivate Cypress Room seats 20.
