India Blue opened in the former Bogard's restaurant location on International Drive on July 7. The 15,000-square-foot Indian restaurant has private and semiprivate event areas for groups as large as 280.
The first floor is made up of three sections: two that can be used for semiprivate events for groups of 50 each and a central area that has dining tables and a bar for as many as 180.
An additional 155 can be seated upstairs. For private events, a 1,000-square-foot dining room can host 40 people. Sliding doors separate it from an adjacent seating area that can be used in conjunction with the private room to create a 2,000-square-foot event space for groups of 80.
There is also a 5,000-square-foot covered patio with seating for 120 at tables and the bar. The restaurant is equipped with Wi-Fi and several plasma-screen televisions throughout.
Indian themes abound: jewel-toned furniture, Indian photography and artwork on the walls, and servers and hostesses in traditional Indian attire. The menu offers a wide variety of seafood, chicken, lamb, and vegetarian options, all of which can be prepared at one of four spice levels.
