Corporate groups looking for entertainment or teambuilding activities have two new options in the Orlando area.
1.
Mauiva Air Tours offers 15- and 30-minute airplane rides that take guests high above Orlando’s theme parks, lakes, celebrity homes, and other attractions. The company began offering the flights out of Kissimmee Ranger Aviation Airport in August 2010. The tours are done in Cessna four-seaters that fly between 900 and 1,400 feet above ground. Daytime tours cost $60 per person for 15 minutes in the air, or $109 for 30 minutes. The 30-minute sunset and fireworks tours are $129 per person. The total time for a flight experience is 60 to 75 minutes to allow for pre- and post-tour briefings. For groups of 10 or more, the company will include one free Captain’s Package, which allows the front-seat passenger to take the controls shortly after takeoff and fly the airplane under the supervision of the pilot.
2. Add some bounce to your next corporate gathering with a trip to Rebounderz indoor trampoline arena. The Longwood facility has a 7,500-square-foot jumping area with rebounding floors and angled rebounding side walls that can accommodate as many as 60 adults at a time. For teambuilding events, groups can use one of the facility’s meeting rooms before or after jumping. There are four small private rooms that can accommodate 15 people, or a 1,000-square-foot open lounge that can host groups of 35. The fee of $20 per person includes use of one of the meeting areas and 70 minutes of either open jumping, dodgeball, or fun exercises led by a Rebounderz instructor. The facility has a snack bar that serves pizza, nachos, snacks, and drinks. Private groups can also bring in an outside caterer. Padded helmets, safety shoes, and ankle braces are available for jumpers at no additional charge.
