Here's a closer look at Dallas/Fort Worth's newest eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms and other spaces available for events this fall. The new and renovated Dallas/Fort Worth venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings and more.
A note regarding COVID-19: Some of the venues listed here may not yet be available for hosting events due to COVID-19, or they may be operating at a lower capacity. As venues begin to slowly reopen across North America, we encourage event organizers to contact the venues to verify current capacity restrictions.
Warwick Melrose
Hotel and historic landmark Warwick Melrose just wrapped up a renovation of its 184 guestrooms, suites and Presidential Suite. The refresh also added the 6,000-square-foot Turtle Creek Grand Ballroom, which can host up to 300 for banquets or 500 for cocktail receptions. The ballroom boasts 30-foot ceilings without pillars, and the room is divisible into three separate spaces. The elegant hotel now includes a new spa with steam rooms and a new pool with a bar and cabanas.

BigShots Golf
BigShots Golf opened a location in April in Fort Worth, offering a six-hole putting course, 56 high-tech tee boxes, and a full-service bar and restaurant with seating for 200. There are several private event spaces: Eagle 1 and 2 can be combined into a 2,300-square-foot meeting space or divided into separate 1,150-square-foot meeting spaces. Another 1,140-square-foot meeting space, the Albatross, offers access to a full bar. Each tee box can accommodate six people, and the couch seating bays offer an additional four chairs for those who are not currently playing the golf games. Besides full buyouts, companies will often rent out the entire top floor, which has 28 golf bays, a bar and the Albatross meeting room.

Roots Southern Table
Chef Tiffany Derry of Top Chef fame opened Roots Southern Table in June, serving her take on Southern comfort food classics like duck fat-fried chicken, cast iron cornbread, gumbo, and fried shrimp and grits. The Farmers Branch restaurant is decorated in serene shades of blue, with massive windows and a subway tile-lined bar. Roots Southern Table can seat 60 inside and 20 outside on the patio.

Marriott Dallas Allen Hotel & Convention Center
The Marriott Dallas Allen Hotel & Convention Center opened in July, connected to the Watters Creek Convention Center. Find approximately 80,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including an Innovation Suite with nine state-of-the-art meeting rooms. The divisible, column-free 40,000-square-foot Terrell Hall is the hotel’s largest meeting room, accommodating 4,400 for receptions or theater-style events. The 12,000-square-foot Starlight Ballroom is divisible into 4,000-square-foot sections with room for up to 1,300 for theater-style events or 1,000 for receptions. Events can also be held outdoors on a patio and courtyard surrounding the hotel’s pool deck.

River Walk Chapel & Hall
For a unique option in Flower Mound, River Walk Chapel & Hall opened in January featuring a chapel with Romanesque-inspired architecture situated on an island. At more than 2,700 square feet, River Walk Chapel can host up to 210 guests. It's located within walking distance to the 4,800-square-foot Water Works Hall, which accommodates up to 240 guests and features an outdoor veranda, a green room, a catering kitchen and high-tech audiovisual capabilities.

Carte Blanche
In the morning, Carte Blanche sells baked goods like croissants and crullers, and in the evening, the Greenville Avenue restaurant offers a tasting menu from a team with a fine dining pedigree. Carte Blanche is available for private events and the seated capacity is 26. The restaurant opened in June.

Second Rodeo Brewing
Second Rodeo Brewing, a brewery, live music venue and beer garden packed with colorful patio furniture, opened in Fort Worth in September from the team behind Dallas's Truck Yard. There are multiple spaces for private events, including upstairs in Folsom Beer Hall, which can accommodate 210 seated guests, including on the balcony. The industrial-feeling space with six televisions can host 250 for seated/standing receptions, but the large tables are bolted to the floor. A covered patio area with a retractable roof offers room for 210 seated, or a mix of 250 seated and standing guests, while the outdoor patio can accommodate 140 seated or 160 seated and standing guests.

Apothecary
New Greenville Avenue cocktail bar Apothecary opened in July, serving creative drinks in a romantic, dimly lit space decorated with peacock wallpaper and velvet-covered seating. Opened by the team at Rye, Apothecary is available for private events and seats 40.

Loro
Two renowned Austin chefs got together to form Asian smokehouse Loro, and over the summer, an outpost opened in Dallas in July. The restaurant from Aaron Franklin of Franklin Barbecue and Tyson Cole of Uchi serves menu items like char siew pork belly and smoked beef brisket with Thai herbs. The Dallas location seats 160 inside, including 24 high-top bar seats and eight low bar seats. Outside, find 134 seats.

Hilton Richardson Dallas
In September, the Hyatt Regency Richardson-Dallas reopened as Hilton Richardson Dallas after a major refresh that included renovations to the hotel's guestrooms, meeting space and restaurants. The hotel offers approximately 15,000 square feet of meeting space across 17 flexible spaces. The 7,800-square-foot Texas Ballroom can accommodate banquets for 550 or receptions for 700. Other spaces include the 2,760-square-foot Longhorn Ballroom, which can accommodate 190 for banquets or 300 for receptions, while the Mockingbird room and the Bluebonnet room can each accommodate 40 for banquets.
