Nightclub owner Eddie Dean (also of the Tiki Room) has hired David Rockwell (well, who else do you hire?) to give Hush a new look. Hush will be transformed into a supper club and lounge, and completion is expected early next year, according to New York magazine.
In other nightclub news, New York reports: "Unfortunately, Moomba's future isn't so bright. Michael Heller and his company, Park Avenue Entertainment, had planned to reopen the defunct hotspot this fall. But after September 11, they changed their minds. Instead, Heller will start this week promoting Thursdays at the Russian Tea Room with Samantha Ronson deejaying." The other part of the Moomba team, Chris, Jennifer and Andy Russell, recently opened the brand-new TanDa.
