Situated in a converted garage in west Chelsea, Ruby Falls is an art gallery by day and a lounge by night. With lofty 35-foot high ceilings and skylights, the large open space is loosely divided into three areas: a street-level lounge with a central bar, a second section elevated a few steps above ground level with a spacious arc-shaped bar and a small upper balcony. The space features warm tones, exposed brick and orange banquettes, and holds as many as 700. —Mark Mavrigian
