Frank and Ray Lopez recently opened Sila Bistro in the former Fritzie’s space. Named after a nickname for its host neighborhood, the Silver Lake restaurant emphasizes seasonal bistro fare prepared with local ingredients.

The main dining room features natural wood flooring and Bordeaux-hued walls, plus a dining bar. The space seats 50, and an enclosed front patio accommodates 20. Available for full buyouts, the venue holds 120 for receptions.

Executive chef Steven Brown’s menu includes entrees such as grilled organic chicken breast with wild-mushroom bread pudding and lobster ravioli with roasted sweet corn and tomato confit. The wine list focuses on small-lot California growers, and sommelier Jared Hooper plans to host tastings, wine flights, and wine pairing dinners.
