Always a great destination, Epcot at Walt Disney World now has one more excellent attraction: Mission Space. Using state-of-the-art centrifuge technology, cool imaging and audio systems, the new attraction lets guests step into a rocket ship, grip the controls and feel like an astronaut. The space can also serve as a great venue for events. Since it is so new, receptions are currently held next door at the test track, which can accommodate as many as 1,000 people. Time the reception to end as the park closes and guests can take advantage of this his modern, colorful and history-packed venue with only members of their group. The Disney Event Group will attend to particulars. Receptions will occur at the Mission Space courtyard beginning in mid-2004. —Shari Lynn Rothstein
