1. The triangular shape of the Bullfinch Hotel reminds everyone of New York's iconic Flatiron Building—hence the Flat Iron Restaurant and Lounge, which opened in April 2007. Chef Thomas Ciszak serves his modern American take on tapas, with dishes such as braised short ribs and grilled octopus. Stainless-steel beaded curtains and glass mosaic tiles accent the comfortable 45-seat space, complemented by an eight-person granite bar.
2. The Millennium Hotel's sleek Red Sky Restaurant and Lounge opened in October 2006 and pours a substantial offering of local brews along with one of Boston's most extensive wine lists. The candlelit dining room seats 150, while the posh lounge seats 60, with an adjacent outdoor patio open during the summer.
3. Grab a specialty cocktail and kick back in leather chairs, plush couches, and comfy ottomans at the sleek but cozy Vintage Lounge. If you're in the mood for some late-night snacking, the tapas and meze menus are available until 1 a.m. The lounge also has facilities for sit-down dinners and cocktail hours, with space for 250 guests.
4. Built in 1928 as Boston's first skyscraper, the Art Deco building formerly known as the Wyndham Hotel reopened as the Hilton Boston Financial District in 2006. The renovated space includes a fully furnished business center, audiovisual equipment rental, and several meeting rooms.
