The U.K. premiere of Django Unchained January 10 illuminated London's Leicester Square with enormous LED panels that led to the screening at the Empire cinema. The outdoor arrivals, which spanned the north side of the central London pedestrian plaza, saw six 12-foot-tall screens splash the name of Quentin Tarantino's film and images of the characters overhead as stars Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, and Kerry Washington walked the white-colored red carpet.
To provide the displays, producer Premier tapped XL Events, which built each piece from 12 lightweight, semitransparent tiles. XL also supplied 72 LED tiles used for a screen that served as the backdrop for a stage where interviews with the cast took place.

Six 12- by 4-foot LED screens lined the arrivals area for the premiere of Django Unchained in London's Leicester Square. At a stage set up at the end of the carpet for celebrity interviews, more screens displayed images of characters and the movie's logo.

Each made up of 12 lightweight tiles, the dynamic outdoor displays from XL Events were used to showcased black-and-white portraits of the movie's characters as well as spell out the name of Quentin Tarantino's gory western.
