David Beahm, founder of David Beahm Design, is known for inventive designs that have been in demand since his big break, planning the nuptials of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas in 2000. Beahm and his team design more than 200 events annually, including lavish social, nonprofit, and corporate parties. Beahm is known for his sculptural, dramatic floral arrangements that are about more than just placing flowers in a vase.
Beahm will give an inside look at the design process as one of the speakers at the Event Innovation Forum during BizBash IdeaFest South Florida April 10 at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center. He will share some of his most recent creations and talk about his work for clients such as Target, Christian Dior, and Louis Vuitton. Beahm will talk attendees through the process of one of his biggest recent projects, as well as share tips for tackling the design challenges faced by events of all sizes, including working in less-than-beautiful rooms and finding new ways to decorate the same venue.
Here are examples of Beahm's work from a variety of events.
