VENUE: A Great Place for Paella

E341819
Arrocerias—aka rice houses—are a hot trend in Spain, serving up one of the country's most recognizable dishes, paella. Chef Florian Tomas, a self-proclaimed rice enthusiast, has brought his knowledge and tradition into the newly revamped Don Quixote Restaurant in Coconut Grove. The arroceria, which recently reopened after a complete makeover, has been redone to allow more space for private functions and events. This theme restaurant revolves around Don Quixote and his story, complete with windmills, an alchemy room and an impressively-detailed Plaza del Quixote. The restaurant boasts six different rooms, some with hand-painted tables and an art collection for sale, as well as a stage. —Charlie Ortiz
