Lou Dawg's Southern Sandwiches—a new eatery and blues club that recently opened on King Street West—provides catering for groups of 10 or more. The shop, owned by Daryl D’Souza (Lucien) and executive chef Sean Smith (formerly of YYZ), offers items such as pulled pork, smoked brisket, and chopped chicken salad sandwiches, and side dishes including Yukon gold fries, sweet potato mash, and blackbean corn salad. All of the meat is smoked and roasted in-house, and the barbecue sauces, available in genuine smokehouse and original Southern flavours, are homemade. Lou Dawg's offers an assortment of three main dishes, three sides, and a selection of desserts for $12.95 per person. Orders for more than 25 people, which include free delivery, must be placed 24 hours in advance. Smaller orders must be submitted by 9:30 a.m.
