Season seven Top Chef contestant Andrea Curto-Randazzo and her husband, Frank, are the chefs behind North Miami Beach’s newly revamped restaurant the Water Club, which opened in late May in the former Shooters location. The 12,750-square-foot eatery on the Intracoastal Waterway combines upscale dining with outdoor relaxation on its 13,000-square-foot pool and deck area.
Just inside the entrance, the main dining room can seat 106 with an additional 88 in the lower dining room, just a few steps down to the right of the entrance. Adjacent to that space is the main bar, which can seat 58.
If privacy is needed, the wine cellar, home to more than 150 varieties of wine, and its adjacent lounge can seat 48 for dining or a tasting coordinated by the sommelier. Smaller parties of 14 can also use the private dining room off the main bar.
Additional seating for as many as 358 is available outside, with 244 on the main deck and the remainder split between the pool bar and deck, which is outfitted with loungers for afternoon retreats or group outings. The pool is accessible by boat from nearly 500 feet of dock space and can be used as a backdrop for events or as an afternoon retreat for groups.
The seasonal menu includes Randazzo’s twist on American classics like steaks, pork chops, ribs, and fresh seafood prepared with ingredient- and flavor-rich sauces and accompaniments. Custom menus are available for groups of four or more.
