At a press luncheon for the unveiling of a new solo exhibition by South Korean photographer Ahae in Grand Central Terminal's Vanderbilt Hall on Thursday, caterer Creative Edge fashioned a menu that highlighted the artist's commitment to environmentalism as well as products from organic farms and other holdings he and his family operate. The luncheon, which took place amid the display of photographs, offered a selection of seven dishes—five savory and two sweet—from which guests could select any number to eat. Each of the small plates incorporated products, such as Socuri Coffee, Donkey sea salt, and yuzu marmalade, that came from either the family's organic tea plantation or 123 Farm of Southern California's Highland Springs resort, or one of its other holdings. The offerings included a chopped salad timbale with vinaigrette made with rosemary from 123 Farm, a duck salad accompanied with a broth of yuzu and Tea of Teas' green tea, and a caramel semifreddo shortcake made using lavender from 123 Farm.

The edibles also served to complement the exhibition, titled "Through My Window: Vibrancy and Serenity," a collection of more than 50 landscape and nature photographs taken by the artist through the window of his studio in South Korea. The images will be on display through October 22.
