At a recent fete for the FLOTUS-preferred designer Jason Wu, flowers were everywhere—including in the ice cubes. Held at New York's St. Regis Hotel, the dinner party introduced Wu's Grand Tourista travel tote to a set of tastemakers, including models Coca Rocha and Carolyn Murphy. Bronson van Wyck designed the bash and created the evening's elderflower-and-champagne cocktail, which he named Garden in a Glass.

"It was not difficult to freeze the flowers in the ice cubes," van Wyck said. "I like to take functional things and give them a beautiful form. Something as simple as an ice cube can be an opportunity to enhance guests' entire experience. Each element of the party should speak to the personality of a brand— in this case a unique combination of elegance and whimsy."
