The Adler Planetarium’s Celestial Ball

The Adler Planetarium hosted its annual Celestial Ball in Chicago on September 9. With a “Milky Way” theme, the event had decor from Event Creative. Balls of ghostly blue and white hydrangeas rested atop tall glass vases, channeling the look of orbiting planets. Overhead, starry lights illuminated the dome in the Grainger Sky Theater, giving the impression of a nighttime sky.
