Leslee Bell of Decor & More predicts that this fall, lounge areas will move away from the all-white leather look and instead incorporate textured fabrics such as suede, chenille, herringbone, and wide whale corduroy. Think grey—soft oyster, pewter, and charcoal—sofas paired with ottomans and pillows upholstered in designer prints.

Decor & More's Bell also predicts that bold patterns, such as geometrics, stripes, abstracts, and animal prints, will make a return this fall. Layering different designs and textures can work as long as you use a common neutral colour as the anchor, she says.
