For the second year, the Museum of Modern Art opted to bring guests through the garden's entrance on 54th Street, rather than guiding them through the main hall of Ronald S. and Jo Carole Lauder Building. Entering from this area, attendees (and curious passersby) got a sneak peek of the dinner setup (pictured).

Instead of the typical step-and-repeat, the organizers opted to integrate a commissioned sketch into the backdrop for the celebrity arrivals area, placing the artwork in rows to emulate a film strip.
