The Washington City Paper's craft fair marked its 10th anniversary this year, curating a group of 140 vendors from more than 500 applicants. The handmade items come from independent artists and include punk-rock baby clothes, handcrafted jewelry, screen-printed items, and art. Next: Fall 2014

Facebook and BuzzFeed hosted the Bow Ties & Burgers event during the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in Washington in May. Photo booth props included oversize bow ties in Faceook's signature blue hue with the logo as the knot. Pen & Public produced the event.

RJ Whyte Productions reworked the layout of the room to accommodate the larger dance floor while still providing enough seating and linear square footage of buffets to keep lines to a minimum. Design Foundry also lowered the height of the food pavilions to allow guests to see further across the space than in the past.

Projection screens above the dance floor showcased photos from the Faces of the Industry competition held during the weeks leading up to the event. Photographers visited area restaurants and submitted pictures of the food, chefs, and ambiance.
