

For the massive gala's 2014 iteration, planners chose a "Bridge to Possibility" theme. Held at the cavernous Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, the event featured screens printed with the New York City skyline and bridges. The screens enclosed the entry hallway that led to the reception space. David Stark Design designed the event.

An dramatic art installation was made from multicolor neon ribbons at PopSugar and ShopStyle's Cabana Club hotel takeover. The piece was a collaboration with the Las Vegas festival Life Is Beautiful.

M.A.C. and Mia Moretii hosted their festival collection with a pool party at the Ingleside Inn. Stoelt Productions produced the event, which was hosted by the BMF Music Lounge. A trio of colorful umbrellas made for a colorful photo backdrop.





On May 22, Captain Morgan launched new rum flavors—including grapefruit, coconut, and pineapple—with an event at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles. To underscore the beverages' fruity flavors, flower arrangements from Athletic Club Flower Shop were contained in hollowed-out pineapples.

Samsung showcased its Galaxy Studio from August 6 through the duration of the Games in Olympic Park. The experience gave fans a chance to demo the brand's latest products and test out interactive experiences including a 4-D kayaking virtual reality experience.

For the Rio Olympics, which took place August 5-21, Omega activated its members-only club Omega House at the Casa de Cultura Laura Alvim on Ipanema Beach. The house hosted a variety of invite-only events including "Cocktails in Space," which featured cocktails served in space ration hydropacks made with Tang.
