Taking inspiration from a French garden, New York-based Tyger Productions transformed the Four Seasons' ballroom for the event, which was held May 20 in Boston, with saturated fuchsia lighting, bright pink napkins, and custom-printed gold foil programs. Manicured boxwood topiary centerpieces adorned with hand-crafted feather butterflies proved to be the guests’ favorite decor item of the night.

Lincoln Center benefits and hard hats may sound like an unlikely combination, but at the cultural center’s 2007 “Good Night, Alice” event, the omnipresent theme of construction made it happen. In the silver lunch boxes, guests found lobster and chop-chop salad, minted pea soup, crunchy wontons, and Asian sesame dressing.

The theme played out in an exotic, draped setting at the 2010 premiere in New York. The venue was divided into three distinct areas, one of which was the black-and white-toned Rink Bar. The producers built custom cabanas in the area, using striped draping, votive candles, and seven-watt globe lights for illumination.
