Every year, some 30,000 people turn out to attend the weeklong celebration of Caribbean culture. This year marks the event’s second time at its new home at Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition. Next: October 4-11, 2015

This year’s Saturday lineup sold out for the first time in the festival’s 11-year history. Organizers plan to add an extra day to the festival next year, including a Friday-night concert and additional events over the weekend. Next: March 18-20, 2016
