Offering a pretzel bar with several varieties puts a spin on the classic snack. Paramount Events Chicago has a pretzel station with plain, sea salt, cheese, and pepperoni pretzels that hang from a stand. Accompanying sauces include whole-grain mustard and tomato-bacon jam.

In Chicago, Lookingglass Theatre's junior board hosted its summer benefit on August 29 at a new venue: Water Tower Works. During cocktail hour, guests sampled deviled duck eggs with bacon from local eatery Highline Bar & Lounge. D.I.Y.-style toppings included a variety of hot sauces and flavored salts.









To celebrate the hotel's new ownership by Lotte Hotels & Resorts, the newly rebranded Lotte New York Palace's food and beverage team reproduced the Midtown Manhattan hotel as a cake. The cake was unveiled at the hotel's relaunching celebration on September 16, an event that was attended by Brooke Shields, Lotte C.E.O. Yongdok Song, and the hotel's managing director, John C. Tolbert.


From September 24 to 26, alcohol delivery service Minibar and St. Germain liqueur teamed up to provide companies and residents in Manhattan and Brooklyn with "biketenders." Those who requested the service on the Minibar website or app were greeted by local mixologists peddling on custom-built, vintage-style bicycles who prepared carafes of St. Germain's signature cocktails for $33.
