Canadiana Gala
The National Ballet School celebrated Canada’s 150th anniversary this year with a fund-raising gala that took place at the Carlu in Toronto in March. The event, which was designed by Candice & Alison, featured a Canadian forest-inspired DJ booth with a DJ dressed as a lumberjack.Â

A massive boombox served as the backdrop for a hip-hop band and DJ at the Block Party on the first night of the conference. The event included additional entertainment, an arcade, a virtual-reality movie experience, food, and more.

For the first time, the event included a remote DJ booth; which featured sets between acts by SKAM DJ, Saint Clair. It towered more than 12 feet high and 12 feet wide, and was constructed with LED tiles that displayed animated event creative and social hashtags throughout the day. It also help kept attendees feeling connected throughout the event's large footprint.
