Thrillist's Empire Oyster

Thillist's Empire Oyster, which offered oyster-lovers a variety of dishes from local vendors, took place in October at Villain in Brooklyn. During the event, artist James Zdaniewski painted a colorful oyster mural that was decorated with a branded life preserver.

Syfy’s Human Claw Machine

Throughout the four-day convention, Syfy hosted 10 panels, two fan parties, karaoke buses and bingo trollies, and pop-up fan awards hosted by Orlando Jones. The network also hosted a human claw machine, where fans could grab boxes with mystery merchandise.
