But it's impossible to plan for every unexpected situation. At the Event Innovation Forum—New York on October 28, Frank Supovitz, president and C.E.O. of Fast Traffic Events & Entertainment—and the N.F.L.'s former head of events—revealed how he has dealt with unplanned circumstances, such as the Super Bowl XLVII blackout. Supovitz also shared tips on how to deal with an unfolding crisis, which can mean the difference between failure and success.
