10 New Las Vegas Venues for Fall 2018 Meetings and Events

The restaurants, hotels, meeting spaces, and more open to host events in Las Vegas.

Here's a look at new Las Vegas eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms, and other spaces available for events this fall. The new and renovated Las Vegas venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fund-raisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, teambuilding activities, conferences, meetings, and more.

2. Electra Cocktail Club
2. Electra Cocktail Club

Electra Cocktail Club opened inside the Palazzo at the Venetian Resort in September. The new nightlife hotspot serves cocktails created by barman Sam Ross in a luxury environment designed by Someone Deary Design Group. The bar’s focal point is a 40-foot digital display that features rotating original art projected in 70 million pixels. The interior also has more than 1,200 points of light, which is offset by teal accents throughout the space. The bar seats 127 people and is available for large parties and groups.

1. Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas

Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas was officially converted to the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas Hotel & Residences in August. The rebranded hotel has 392 guest rooms and 225 residences, which include 55 suites and three larger presidential suites. Other additions include the French restaurant Twist and a 27,000-square-foot spa. The resort also has an eighth-floor pool deck. The property has 12,000 square feet of event space including the Waldorf Ballroom, which holds as many as 800 guests for receptions.

Thunderbird Boutique Hotel debuted the renovated Thunderbird Lounge in September. The retro-chic lounge, which is helmed by Kelley Jones of Kelley Jones Hospitality and Todd Parmelee, principal and consultant with Parmelee Hospitality Entertainment Consulting, serves American fare and classic cocktails and also has beer pong and bar-top gaming. The space includes a 3,800-square-foot lounge that holds 187 for receptions and a 2,500-square-foot showroom with room for 300 for receptions.

4. Boathouse Asian Eatery

As part of a $192 million property-wide renovation, Palace Station debuted Boathouse Asian Eatery in July. Helmed by brother-sister duo Cat and Tu Do and their partner Hans Mogensen, the restaurant serves Asian fare influenced by Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese cuisine. The 7,217-square-foot venue holds 300 guests reception-style at indoor and outdoor areas, and it also has a 14-seat sushi bar and a six-seat noodle bar. The restaurant also has a private dining room that holds 24 people for receptions.

5. Royal Britannia Gastropub

Royal Britannia Gastropub opened at the Grand Canal Shoppes in August. Located in the former Tintoretto Restaurant & Bakery space, the restaurant specializes in British staples such as fish and chips and chicken and mushroom pot pie, along with alcohol-infused milkshakes. Outfitted with British antiques, the space offers pub-style booth seating and outdoor seating in the mall. The venue seats 120 guests total; it seats 50 guests for private events in the Huntsroom.

6. Topgolf Swing Suite
6. Topgolf Swing Suite

M Resort Spa Casino partnered with sports entertainment company Topgolf to open Topgolf Swing Suite in September. The virtual gaming experience allows people to virtual golf and has multi-sport games in a temperature-controlled room with lounge seating. The 1,200-square-foot suite has two gaming areas that can each hold six players. The suite also has a food and drink menu that serves burgers, pizza, craft beer, specialty cocktails, and milkshakes.

7. The Hangover Bar

The Hangover Bar, inspired by the Caesars Palace rooftop toast scene in the 2009 comedy The Hangover, opened at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas in June. The bar features industrial design elements that evoke the roof of Caesars Palace, and includes an LED backdrop of the Vegas skyline. The full-service bar, which seats 45 guests, also features cocktails inspired by the film. The venue is the latest addition to the museum’s The Hangover experience, which includes a hotel suite and wedding chapel with wax figures of the film’s characters.

8. Blue Moon Bar
8. Blue Moon Bar

Blue Moon Bar opened at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in June. Located in front of the Zappos Theater, the bar serves Blue Moon signature beers, beer-based cocktails, and exclusive beers only available from the brand’s River North brewery in Denver. The bar features lounge seating, video poker machines, and multiple televisions. The 1,083-square-foot space seats 54 guests.

The JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa debuted two new suites in the Palms Tower in July. The Penthouse Suite, a wellness-inspired space, spans 2,300 square feet and features shades of warm whites and beiges, along with accents of gold. The suite can hold 30 people for meetings and private events.

10. The Aviation Suite at JW Marriott

The second of JW Marriott’s new suites is the Aviation Suite, which opened in July. The 2,400-square-foot space features a sleek, contemporary design with shades of blue and gray, and industrial touches inspired by aviation. The suite holds 30 people for meetings and private events.
