The Beverly Garland Holiday Inn in North Hollywood has just debuted its redesigned Garland Center conference center, part of a series of upgrades and transformations that have taken place at the property over the last year. Updates to the Garland Center include technology improvements, new carpeting, lighting, and cosmetic touches. Six separate meeting spaces, including the 132-seat Beverly Garland Theater, which has plush chairs with retractable desks, comprise the center.
The Spanish-influenced mission-style hotel offers more than 12,000 square feet of event space overall, including a grand ballroom, which has room for 650 guests. An additional 2,500 square feet of landscaped outdoor space allows for indoor and outdoor events. The recent redesign includes upgrades to the property’s nine meeting rooms in all. The Father Serra room, which holds 120 for seated events, has a new modern look with a creamy color palette. The center, when combined with the hotel’s larger ballroom, which was renovated earlier in the year, offers more than 12,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.
The Beverly Garland was built in 1972 by Fillmore Crank for his wife, actress Beverly Garland. The Beverly Garland Holiday Inn sits on seven acres that Garland's husband purchased from Gene Autry. Influenced by the California Mission and Spanish Hacienda architecture styles, each of the 255 guest rooms and suites include private balconies.
