Oscars Move to February in 2004

Get ready to start planning your Oscar night bashes—or plan around Oscar night—one month earlier. The date was pushed forward from the end of March in an effort to bolster ratings for the televised awards show, which has suffered in recent years because it trails a long movie awards season that begins with the Golden Globes in January.
