The Rosebery might be among the world’s most elegant party buses. Based in England and currently traveling to events and festivals across Great Britain and Europe, the Rosebery houses a sleek cocktail bar and dining room inside a restored and converted 1966 London Routemaster bus.

Available for private and corporate events, the Rosebery is the brainchild of restaurant consultant and London Restaurant Festival co-founder Simon Davis, who found the decommissioned double-decker bus in a junkyard. The mobile party space (named the "Rosebery" after its final route up Rosebery Avenue in Islington) now features a stylish dining area on the top deck that can seat 18 in dark green leather banquettes and Louis Ghost chairs. Downstairs is a full-service shagreen-covered bar, a cupboard filled with supplies for games like badminton and backgammon, and additional seating (the bus can host 40 for a cocktail party). Other amenities include a sound system, full heating and cooling, two flat-screen televisions (one inside, one outside), Wi-Fi, a retractable awning, and comprehensive food and drink service.

Although the Rosebery is available for worldwide travel, the company hasn’t yet finalized the logistics or cost for transporting the bus, but it has plans to bring it to the U.S. in February or March of 2013. “We have had a lot of interest in the Rosebery from the U.S. and will definitely be planning a variety of events,” said a company rep.
