Paul Wilmot Communications isn’t letting a wobbly economy disrupt plans to expand from Chelsea to Hollywood Boulevard. The 12-year-old public relations firm has tapped associate partner and regional director Alexandra Kimball to head a California branch, beginning earlier this month. Women’s Wear Daily reported today that the business will work with its current fashion, lifestyle and culture brands, including event work, in addition to seeking new L.A.-based clients (which, according to Fashion Week Daily, will not include celebrities). M.A.C., Oscar de la Renta, Calvin Klein, and the Whitney Museum are among the company's clients.
