"Fashionably late" did not accurately describe the well-heeled crowd that queued up ahead of the start time for Friday night's kick-off event for the second biannual Gilt City Los Angeles warehouse sale. About 200 Gilt V.I.P.s, Noir members, and media got the shopping started enthusiastically at Siren Studios with a VeeV bar, hydration from Fiji Water and Vita Coco, snacks from Kind bars, and makeup stations from Benefit Cosmetics. On Saturday, the crowd swelled to about 1,200 Gilt City members, who—in addition to the spoils of their sprees—headed home with a Gilt-branded photograph postcard on the red carpet from Postagram.
