Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

The ninth annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic took place June 4 at Liberty State Park in New York. The event featured a rosé garden that offered guests bottles of Veuve Clicquot Rosé and Starr Catering Group's rosé-theme gourmet lunch boxes, which included mini bottles of raspberry vinaigrette, kale salads, Serrano ham sandwiches, and raspberry almond cakes.

The 31st annual Chef's Tribute to Citymeals on Wheels took place June 6 throughout Rockefeller Center Plaza in New York. Celebrating Latino cuisine and culture, the event featured on-theme fruit carvings from Hugh McMahon.

Harlem EatUp! Festival
Harlem EatUp! Festival

The second annual Harlem EatUp! festival took place May 19 to 22 at venues throughout Harlem. The Saturday Stroll, presented by Citi, and the Sunday Stroll, presented by Aetna, featured signature dishes from local restaurants such as Sylvia’s, Melba’s, Row House, Blujeen, Streetbird, Lolo’s Seafood Shack, and Chaiwali, along with craft beer, wine, and bespoke cocktails. Norberto Farciert of Harlem Tavern served his popular seafood ceviche (pictured).

Citi's Cardholder Lounge at Morningside Park featured a bar, highboy tables, charging stations, and lounge seating. Guests could also score swag from a branded vending machine when they posted to their social media accounts.

Call It Spring's Capsule Collection Launch

Footwear and accessories line Call It Spring launched a collection inspired by Disney's Alice Through the Looking Glass on May 19 at No Vacancy nightclub in Los Angeles. The former Hotel Juniper in Hollywood, the space's reception desk was decorated with whimsical florals. Production designer and art director Sean Daly of Sean Daly Art Project was behind the look.

Nibbles from Modern Art Catering included on-theme sweets and savories. For dessert, there were sugar cookies in the form of playing cards, chocolate mousse teacups, pink and purple popcorn, and mini chocolate cupcakes with red rose-shaped frosted tops.

The fifth edition of the innovative conference took place May 24 to 26 at Arsenal. As attendance increased this year to more than 6,000, the event featured a new outdoor space to accommodate attendees. The area had a variety of interactive art installations, including one where four guests could simultaneously pedal stationary bikes to produce music.

The outdoor village backed up to the Lachine Canal, so organizers offered boat tours as a different opportunity for attendees to conduct their "brain dates."

19th Annual Vintage Affair

The Children's National Medical Center's benefit Vintage Affair, which revolves around wine tasting and live and silent auctions, took place May 7 at Dock5 at Union Market in Washington. Bravo Events and Design Foundry incorporated silent auction items into the event's decor. Local dining gift certificates and plaques were displayed on shelves and plates attached to one of the gallery walls.
