Quiet Events—which provides wireless headphone rentals for silent discos and has offices in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Austin, London, Ottawa, and Tokyo—offered a meeting-friendly idea during the trade show's morning education sessions. Because four workshops were happening simultaneously, with only draping separating them, the headphones were used to ensure audiences could hear the sessions. Speakers spoke into a microphone, which fed directly into the headphones that had been provided for each attendee. The headphones can be customized with company logos, and they work as far away as 1,500 feet from the speaker and have a 12-hour battery life.

Holographic Entrance uses FogScreen technology that allows event guests to walk through projected video imagery. The effect is fully customizable; guests can be walking through company logos and graphics, pictures of guests of honor, and more. A speaker system can be added to further the effect. The screens are not actually made of fog—it’s high-velocity air channels—which means there’s no danger of setting off fire alarms or of guests getting wet. The activation is generally eight feet wide, but customization is possible.

Brand Activation Services, which is based in New York but does work nationally, provides memorable and interactive experiences for brands, including social media photo ops, customizable giveaways, video booths, games, and more. At BizBash Live, the brand showed off its Shower Karaoke, inspired by the notion that people love to sing in the shower.
