The Henry Mancini Institute (HMI) will celebrate its 10th anniversary this weekend at the Kodak Theatre with a concert and gala on June 17. Tony Bennett will perform with the HMI Orchestra, with appearances by Monica Mancini and Dave Koz. Among the expected guests is Oscar-winning film composer John Williams, who will receive the Hank award for contribution to American music. (Previous award winners include Quincy Jones and Clint Eastwood.) A post-concert gala will be held in the Hollywood & Highland Annex with dinner catered by Wolfgang Puck. Kaplan Communications is handling PR.
Meanwhile, at the airport Westin, the at-risk youth aid foundation P.S. I Love You will hold its annual casino night, hosted by Mario Lopez and Miss California Tamiko Nash. About 500 guests are expected, and It Girl PR is managing the PR.
