Fritz and Franz Bierhaus in Coral Gables is once again hosting its annual American Oktoberfest. For the 14th year, the German- and Austrian-inspired restaurant and bar is paying tribute to the original Oktoberfest, held annually in Munich at the end of September in celebration of Bavarian culture.
Taking place now through October 13, the festivities include specials on Bavarian beer and cuisine, live performances from two Austrian bands, and prizes including a raffle for a seven-day Caribbean cruise with proceeds going to the St. Charles Children's Home.
