On September 7, Hyatt Dulles opened its new Executive Meeting Center. With 18,000 square feet of meeting space and 11,000 square feet of prefunction space, the center can accommodate a wide range of group sizes and host multiple events at one time. The EMC, as it is known, is made up of four boardrooms that can accommodate groups of 24 to 150 people and two ballrooms that can be manipulated into 18 different room configurations.
The 8,740-square-foot Luray Ballroom is the largest space available at the property, with the ability to accommodate as many as 1,000 people, while the Cirrus Ballroom measures 4,140 square feet and can seat 450. Attendees also have access to a 50-seat private dining area, complimentary business center, fitness center, and swimming pool.
The center marks the first Hyatt to obtain membership in the International Association of Conference Centers and is one of the few meeting centers to take part in the Pure Room program, which focuses on creating allergen-free spaces.
The center, on the main floor of the 316-room hotel, also offers all-inclusive meeting packages for groups where all details including food, space, and guest rooms are included in one fee.
