To fete its fall television lineup, Fox invited guests back to the Book Bindery for its annual casino-style kickoff event. This year's program returned to Culver City for a party that underscored network's overall environmentally conscious messaging, while playing up an autumnal vibe—despite the persistently summery temperatures around Los Angeles.
The network's Karin Pofsky worked with YourBash! to build out the raw space into an environment with decor and lighting executed in as environmentally friendly a manner as possible. For instance, the food from Alligator Pear was all organically grown, and the production team hung battery-operated lights above the casino area.
Decor was inspired by the event's invitation, created in-house at Fox. The color palette included grays, purples, and light wood tones for an overall shabby-chic, loftlike look and feel. Olive trees and custom-embroidered pillows rounded out the look.
Gaming tables from Fantasy Casino encouraged guests to try their hand at casino games, using play-money chips that could be redeemed for Fox-branded prizes.
