Last night, we stopped by the private room at Spago in Beverly Hills for an intimate five-course tasting dinner and wine pairing hosted by Wildflower Linen and Chameleon Chair Collection. The companies showcased their wares for the group—among the guests were top event producers and designers including Edgardo Zamora, David Beahm (in from New York), and Mary Micucci—at a lavish U-shaped table topped with rose-colored organza (hand-beaded in Asia, Wildflower founder Youngsong Martin told us), which matched the elaborate silk-box invitations (created by Paper Girl) that had preceded the event in the mail.
Angular glass centerpieces housed red tulips, orchids, and succulents by Irvine-based Square Root Designs. Linens embroidered with each guest’s first name and last initial marked their places. During the meal—which included a course of chestnut agnolotti with Italian white truffles that made us swoon—Wolfgang Puck made his rounds among the guests.
