Neal Awards competition for editorial excellence. Our editors have been named finalists in these categories:

Best Cross-Platform Package: Event Innovators 2012
Best News Coverage: Hurricane Sandy
"All of the work being recognized required considerable ingenuity, collaboration, and reporting from our entire editorial staff," said BizBash editor in chief Chad Kaydo. "Serving our readers is always our most important goal, but it's great to see the team get recognized by our peers in journalism, too." The Cross-Platform Package entry includes work done for BizBash's print, digital, and social media platforms. And the editors worked on the Hurricane Sandy coverage while there was no power in our editorial headquarters.
BizBash is one of 184 finalists selected by a board of judges chaired by Diana Henriques of The New York Times. The winners will be announced on March 12 during ABM’s annual Neal Awards ceremony at Pier Sixty in New York. Cross your fingers for us.
