Inspired by its latest climate change campaign, the eco-conscious company transformed an electric car to deliver its sweet goods.

Ben & Jerry's recently kicked its gas-guzzling, boxy ice cream truck to the curb, trading it in for a set of hot wheels. As part of its Save Our Swirled campaign, which kicked off in April, the eco-conscious, Vermont-based ice cream company souped up an electric Tesla Model S for its 8,000-plus-mile road trip.

The brand is currently touring the country, offering free scoops and spreading the word about the effects of carbon pollution and clean energy solutions. Ice cream lovers can show their support by tweeting @BenJerrysWest and @BenJerrysTour to score a visit from the new delivery vehicle in their neighborhood or at their office. Upcoming stops include Seattle, Washington, and Boston.

The shrunken scoopmobile features a Climate Action station with interactive tablets, which are located in the "frunk" (or front trunk)—where the engine would be in a conventional car. Fans can join the global climate movement by signing up with the company's nonprofit partner Avaaz, one of the organizers of the People’s Climate March. (The international organization aims to deliver three million signatures on its 100 percent Clean Power Petition before the Paris Climate summit in December.) The back seat and rear of the vehicle is fitted with three freezers, holding more than 1,000 scoops. The company's other scoop trucks have been converted to run on B100 biodiesel.

As part of its activism campaign, the company also released a new flavor by the same name—Save Our Swirled. The raspberry ice cream features swirls of marshmallow and raspberry, along with white and dark fudge chunks.
