While track construction is estimated to have cost around $500 million, the investment may have been worth it: The race weekend's overall economic impact is estimated at a whopping $1.2 billion, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.Photo: Courtesy of Las Vegas Grand Prix
LAS VEGAS—
The Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix roared back to the Strip for its second year from Nov. 21-23, blending the adrenaline of world-class racing with the unmatched energy of Las Vegas. With George Russell of Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS taking P1 and Max Verstappen clinching the 2024 World Drivers’ Championship, the high-stakes competition kept 306,000 fans on the edge of their seats. Drivers navigated the 3.8-mile track at breakneck speeds exceeding 220 mph, zooming past the city’s legendary resorts, casinos, and landmarks.

But the action wasn’t limited to the track. In addition to ultra-luxe hospitality experiences, celeb-packed parties, and high-energy performances from the likes of Boyz II Men, Ludacris, OneRepublic, and Steve Aoki, attendees could experience new and unique attractions like culinary experiences from chef Gordon Ramsay and Papi Steak; couples tying the knot with Elvis at a Formula 1-themed wedding chapel; fans skating on the Las Vegas Skate Circuit between racing sessions; and more.

Brand new this year was the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix Fan Experience, where attendees enjoyed panels and autograph signings, live car runs, interactive displays, local food vendors, and entertainment. Read on for more event highlights—on and off the track—from brands like ESPN, American Express, Jack Daniel's, PUMA, PATRĂ“N Tequila, Red Bull, T-Mobile, and more.

For the second consecutive year, Blueprint Studios served as the official design partner for the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. The team brought to life thousands of square feet of multilevel structures, miles of printed signage, bespoke furniture designs, and unique LED lighting installations. Highlights of its hospitality spaces included Skybox, which evoked classic Las Vegas glamour while overlooking the main grandstand; Turn 3 Club, a new space that placed fans right in the action of—you guessed it—the track’s turn 3; and Club Overtake; a nightclub-inspired space at turn 4.

Blueprint Studios also unveiled a dynamic race entrance sign (pictured) that set the stage for the adrenaline-filled days ahead.
