1. Imax Theatre at the Tropicana
The Tropicana Casino & Resort boasts the only cinema in town, an Imax theater that opened in 2004. With reception facilities, audiovisual and multimedia equipment, and a 70- by 50-foot screen, the 300-seat Imax Theatre at the Tropicana is offered for corporate and nonprofit meetings and presentations as well as private screenings.
2. House of Blues
Large groups can also book this multilevel 3,800-capacity concert and event space with several rooms available for rental. Among them are the Music Hall, a bilevel facility with room for 600 seated, and the Club Worship lounge. Originally opened in 2005, House of Blues has audiovisual equipment as well as concert-quality lighting and sound capabilities.
3. Music Box
Companies and nonprofit organizations alike have held their events at this Borgata Hotel venue since it first opened in 2003. Fitted with its own bar and a reception area, the 1,000-seat performance spot can be rigged for presentations as well as award shows; the hotel can provide projection screens, microphones, and on-site technicians.
