Chic Lounge Expands Event Space

Spy Lounge & Brasserie has been open at the Catalina Hotel & Beach Club since January, bringing some European flair to the heart of Miami Beach. In March, owners Gokhan Yuzbasioglu and Evrim Oralkan expanded the 2,000-square-foot lounge with the addition of a 500-square-foot elevated deck that can be used for private events for 50 people reception-style. A wooden communal table on the deck can host 24 people for dinner. The deck has wooden tables, plush oversized floor pillows, and semi-private white canopied seating areas. It offers full-service French-style catering for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Later in the night, the menu switches to light Mediterranean tapas and cocktails. The 3,000-square-foot pool area can also be used for events for as many as 100 people.
