There were at least 20 pectoral muscles on display at Cosmopolitan magazine's party to promote its upcoming "All About Men" November issue. (Which begs the question: If November's issue is all about men, what are the other ones about?) A group of 10 male models appeared in a runway show, and posed--topless, naturally--with editor in chief Kate White. Later the muscle-bound eye candy even kept their shirts off as they mingled with ogling guests (lots of twentysomething women, naturally) at Pressure, the pressurized bubble on the rooftop of Bowlmor Lanes. After the show, the crowd hung out among the bars and pool tables in the 16,000-square-foot space while the venue's numerous television screens showed a video with the Cosmo logo and clips with iconic, strutting male actors (Tom Cruise smiling at Val Kilmer in Top Gun, James Dean emoting with Natalie Wood in Rebel Without a Cause, Richard Gere seducing Lauren Hutton--or vice versa--in American Gigolo). The event was produced by Hearst Magazines' David Bowen.

Survivor's Alicia Calaway (in white) and Cosmopolitan editor in chief Kate White posed with a group of male models at a party to promote Cosmo's "All About Men" issue.

Intermedia Production Group used a gobo to shine the Cosmopolitan logo on a giant billiards ball at the entrance to Pressure, the space under a pressurized bubble on the rooftop of Bowlmor Lanes.
