After spending more than 80 years in the Aeolian Building in upper Midtown, Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas relocated its New York flagship to a larger space in January. The 21,000-square-foot facility, which formerly housed the Cornelia Day Spa, occupies two floors atop the Ferragamo building. The updated spa boasts salon services for men and women and can be used for groups.
The Red Door Spa, housed just a few blocks from its former address, is an upgraded version of its old location with a more modern look and upscale amenities. The site offers 18 treatment rooms, a sundeck that overlooks Fifth Avenue, a spa café with varied menu items, and private rooms that accommodate multiple beds. A 2,500-square-foot penthouse terrace with a rooftop garden is available for events starting in April and will hold as many as 75 people for private and corporate functions.
For group bookings, the spa has room for as many as 225 people.
