Here's a look at the best new Atlanta restaurants, hotels, party rooms, corporate event venues, conference centers, and private rooms to open this summer. These new and renovated Atlanta venues can accommodate groups large or small for private and corporate events, meetings, business dinners, cocktail parties, conferences, weddings, and more.

The National Center for Civil and Human Rights opened in June, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act. The museum houses a collection of artifacts and experiences about the American civil rights movement and human rights movements globally. For private events, the 43,000-square-foot facility has an event room that holds 300 guests for receptions. The main lobby holds 500 for receptions, and three gallery spaces each hold 100 for receptions. Each space has audiovisual equipment. Architect Philip Freelon in partnership with HOK designed the center, and the Rockwell Group provided exhibition design.

Vine & Tap opened in Buckhead in February. The 2,400-square-foot gastro-wine pub serves craft beer and wine by tap and bottle. The venue has a 1,000-square-foot deck that seats 65, and a private dining room holds as many as 40 guests for receptions.

The Hyatt Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina opened in June. The 173-room hotel has more than 13,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor event space for 300 guests. Located on an 83-acre development, the property has three expansive gardens and two bridal suites.

Restaurant and bar Big Sky Buckhead opened in May. The 6,000-square-foot space includes food from chef Hector Santiago of Top Chef fame, a second floor with views of the Buckhead skyline, and an open-air patio on the ground level. A private room seats 100 or holds 250 for receptions. The entire venue is available for buyout.

In January, pizza connoisseurs Roberto Caporuscio and Antonio Starita opened the Neapolitan pizzeria Don Antonio by Starita in Buckhead. The 3,500-square-foot restaurant seats 108 in the main dining room, and a 1,500-square-foot private room seats 52. An exposed kitchen with a mozzarella-making station sits in the main room and allows guests to view their meal being made from start to finish. The restaurant is available for buyouts.

The event venue 3109 Piedmont Estate and Gardens is a full-service 14,000-square foot space in Buckhead. Originally built in 1797, the estate finished an extensive makeover last year and now offers 12 customized rooms, two wine cellars, an enclosed glass porch, landscaped gardens, and a ballroom that holds 400 for receptions.

Located in Buckhead’s Miami Circle, boutique bowling venue the Painted Pin opened in May in a former warehouse. The 5,781-square-foot venue features several lounge-style seating areas and 20 bowling lanes that accommodate 120 bowlers at once. Two of the lanes come equipped with self-service table taps. In addition to bowling, the venue also offers pub fare and games including table shuffleboard, ping-pong, and Skee-Ball. The venue is available for buyout and holds 350 guests.

Foundation Social Eatery opened in May in a rustic-industrial space that features a combination of wood, concrete, and metal. For receptions, the 550-square-foot dining room holds 50, while the 206-square-foot private room holds 15. The venue also has a lounge that holds 34 guests for receptions and a patio that holds 37.

The South American restaurant Cinco Y Diez opened in January in Athens. Designed in a rustic style, the 250-square-foot front room seats 30 people, while the 800-square-foot dining room seats 80. Features include a full bar with an emphasis on artisanal mezcals and tequilas, plus a “chandelier” constructed from 18th-century ice tongs.

Decatur-based Wild Heaven Brewery opened a tasting room in June. The 2,000-square-foot private space seats 60 or holds 100 for receptions. The brewery also has plans for a 200-person patio.
