Technological advances are often crucial for event planners to have a marketing edge. Here are new and recently renovated Las Vegas venues that have stayed on top of upgrades and improved offerings for tech-savvy guests. The hotels, conference centers, restaurants, private rooms, and other spaces can accommodate groups large or small for private and corporate events, conferences, meetings, weddings, business dinners, teambuilding activities, cocktail parties, and more.

Nacho Daddy opened its new location on Las Vegas Boulevard in September. Known for its Mexican cuisine and margaritas, the 6,200-square-foot venue offers a 20-foot projection screen, audiovisual hookups throughout the restaurant, and a sound system for bands and DJs. The entire restaurant, which is available for private and special events, seats 270 and has a private room that seats 26. Food orders can be placed online through Postmates and Bite Squad.

The Thomas & Mack Center completed its $72 million renovation in September, which included updates to meeting rooms, escalators and elevators, restrooms, and arena seating. The most notable addition was the construction of a 35,000-square-foot, two-story multi-purpose event space called the Strip View Pavilion, which is available for private and public events of 400 seated and 600 standing. Along with a new state-of-the-art sound system and ceiling art grid, new tech-forward additions include two digital video marquees on the front of the venue and the implementation of a distributed antenna system to improve cell phone voice and data service.

Harrah's Las Vegas Hotel & Casino unveiled its renovated Valley Tower in September, which boasts 600 rooms and 72 suites that feature gray and purple accents. For guests, the hotel offers self check-in and check-out kiosks for quicker arrival and departure experiences. Renovations were also made to the tower's Harrah's Race & Sports Book, which now features 40 new HD televisions and built-in USB chargers. The tower's other venue, Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill, offers new furniture, a dance floor, and a sound system, as well as two semiprivate rooms that can hold as many as 24 for cocktails and a V.I.P. room that holds 35 reception-style.

Salon and blow dry bar chain Drybar opened its flagship location in the Miracle Mile Shops in July. At 2,797 square feet, the shop is the brand's largest to date, and features 20 chairs for blowouts and the capacity to hold as many as 50 for private events. The venue also has a DJ booth and photo booth for events, a full bar, and USB ports at each blowout station.

The Pool, a rooftop between the Plaza Hotel & Casino's North and South towers, opened in July. The remodeled pool deck space–which is open to hotel guests and Nevada residents—has resort-style furniture, a 12-person hot tub, a cocktail bar and onsite food truck, tennis and Pickleball courts, and six private cabana suites that have televisions, fans, refrigerators, and safes. Pickleball courts can be reserved online in advance at the hotel's website. The venue also has a stage with audiovisual capabilities that is available for DJ sets, concerts, and special events. The stage area has the newest Bose sound system, a versatile, full-range loudspeaker system designed to ensure uniform clear sound throughout the entire pool area. Once set, the system automatically changes equilibrium to maintain optimum tonal balance. The 70,000-square-foot space can accommodate 900 for cocktails and is available for private parties. In addition, the Plaza's casino sports wagering can be accessed through the William Hill app.

Classic American steakhouse Cornerstone opened in August. Located inside the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino—which offers a mobile sports book app for guests interested in gambling—the 4,365-square-foot restaurant seats 130 in the main dining room and 30 at a bar. The venue also showcases a liquor library with more than 60 types of whiskeys from around the world. The space is available for personalized event packages upon request.

Community-driven, charity-based arts complex The Space—a new venue from Marshun Entertainment founder Mark Shunock—soft opened in October and will have its grand opening in January. The venue, which includes rehearsal studios and a vintage piano bar and lounge, is available for a variety of events including fund-raisers, concerts, readings, photo shoots, and more. Tech-friendly features include a state-of-the-art light and sound system and a podcast recording studio. The 8,900-square-foot space seats 400 theater-style and holds 600 standing, and has a black box theater that seats 120 or holds 250 standing.

Mexican restaurant Casa Del Matador opened in its first Nevada location in downtown Summerlin in August. Managed by Opper Melang Restaurants, the venue features hand-picked lighting from Mexico and Morocco, an open floor-to-ceiling fireplace, and walls with custom ironwork and sugar-skull wallpaper. The 4,306-square-foot restaurant seats 120 in the main dining room and 30 at a patio. For private events, the venue has two big-screen televisions that can be used for audiovisual needs. Casa Del Matador does not take reservations at any of its locations, but catering is available for events. People can also purchase gift cards online at the Casa Del Matador website.

Residence Inn Las Vegas Airport opened in September. The 131-suite hotel offers mobile check-in for guests and free Wi-Fi, as well as free breakfast and an outdoor space for social events that the hotel hosts three nights a week. The hotel has a 480-square-foot meeting room that seats 32 theater-style.

Charlie Palmer Steak at the Four Seasons Hotel completed renovations to its interior and facade in September. Along with the appointment of a new executive chef and pastry chef, the restaurant now offers a renewed wine program led by two master sommeliers. The restaurant also partnered with Innovatino designer Nancy Paolino for an interior design change that evokes Nevada landscapes. The 5,000-square-foot restaurant, which is available for full and partial buyouts, seats 300 in the entire restaurant; 150 for a main dining room buyout; and has a lounge private room that holds as many as 50 reception-style and a second private dining room that seats 25. Food orders can be placed online through Bring Me That.
